last saturday joel started painting our house (at last)!! so far just one room is done. It has a total feel to the room. We decided to paint the lounge room a light green, before we painted the wall had 2 colours, the top half was grey & the bottom half was dark brown! Yuck! Now i just love the room, & with the lighter colour the room feels as though it is bigger. I wish i had a digital camera so i could show u. i guess u will just have to wait!!

Weddings

Last weekend my family & i went to busselton for the weekend as my sister was getting remarried, it was a lovely day the weather was nice, she whore a pink dress, the reception was at a cafe. Tomorrow i have also got another wedding to go to as a cousin is getting married, then another next month!! I can not wait to get a digital camers then i can show you where i have been!

Sorry i have not posted anything lately, the blogger system was all different, & i only just worked out how to get to my blogger!!

Since i last wrote the kids are now back at school. A different one, & are likeing it so far.

All 4 are now in school! And catch the bus. I do like them around, so i do miss them, but one the other hand i get alot more done at home.

Also a few Sunday's ago our oldest son Isaac got Baptized. He is 11 in April & he decided this on his own. So we were reaaly happy for him. So i guess that is us all up to date, so thankyou for your patients.

Swimming

Today i desided to enroll the kids into swimming lessons. We dont go swimming offen enough, and thought the kids were falling behind, on there knowledge of the water. My eldest will be 11 soon & is not confident enough in the water. So their course goes for 2weeks, hopefully enough for them to get to their right stage level.

I have decided for this year i will try to loose some weight!! I am curriently 70kg, and i will try to aim for 58kg. The last few night's i have been walking the dog's since there is still day light till 8pm. I am also buying recipe book's for healthy eating. We will see how thing's pan out. I will keep you posted!

I hope you all had a great New Year celabration? I let our kids have a move night were they pick a move each to watch till midnight, then we all counted down, and celabrated by cracking bon bons. then the kids sleeped in the lounge room. I think they had a ball.

Christmas

Well we have just returned from a week away from home, we holidayed in Busselton, at the baptist camp site, it was a nice break especailly for me! No housework!!! The kids had fun being on the beach. Although on our first day, we had not even been there for 5mins, And one of the kids steped on a fish (that had spikes). it was on the sand, so my husband Joel took our son Luke to hospital, And they removed most of the spikes, the rest were too deep so his foot had to soak in boiling hot water to suck out any poison. While on holiday we also saw family, and some old friends. Now we are back home to welcome the new year.

How did you all go with the new time difference on sunday? we were ok, i guess because we have lived over east and are used to it. I guess the only hassel is trying to confince the kids it is bed time. when it gets dark after 8pm!

We got back last night from a weekend away, we went to visit some friends in mukinbuddin, we had a great time catching up after not seeing them in 8yrs. I just love the country.
Didn't do much sightseeing though. We had so much other thing's to do. Once we got back to perth i was like noo, i like the country better!!

HOT water

About 2wks ago we lost our hot water, (OH NO!!!) we had only moved into the house a few months ago. The electric system was under 5yrs old ( a bit hopeless) . So for one weekend we had no hot water, well i boiled the water so the kids could have a bath! By monday we had temprey hot water till the real one got installed, this time we went for a solarhart, it has been so good even on cloudy day's!

Since coming back here to perth it has been hard to fit back in after being away for the past 5 yrs. school has not been a pleasent one for the kids. They have been bullied by other kids, i had to take luke out of school because he was getting ill every morning before school and cryed after school. (I find this very sad, especailly when it is a christian school). The kids keep asking to go back to their christian school in vic, where they had been very happy. But as much as i would like too..... Joel has never had work this good before (he is a bricklayer), Perth is really taking off, (with so many buildings)!!! So next yr we will try another school and go from there.

Well today i went on my own adventure!! I drove all the way to narrigin and back so i am very pleased with myself!( It was a 2hr drive there & back!) I went there because there was a certain breed of cat that was not expencive! (a ragdoll)! So my tabby now has a companion. And i even made it back in time to get the kids from school!

Luke

Recently Luke (who is pictured below) had an MRI recently, which the hospital(pmh) want to do every 3yrs because of his accident in 2003. The scans showed that at the back of the brain he had a sist, so they will let me know if they want to do anything about soon.

Birthday #2

Well we had another birthday saturday (7th Oct), Our second oldest son Luke turned 9, so we went out as a family. We took the kids to scitech, then we went to a heated pool for a swim, and had fish & chips for dinner, then had an ice-cream birthday cake. It was an enjoyable day for all! It is hard to believe he is 9 already, as when he was only 5 he nearly died, so we are thankful to God for every day we have with him.

Well today is my 32nd birthday, not much fun i guess it get's that way as you get older.Today i am doing the usual, like house work! And keeping the kids busy for the school holiday's. I did go to the cheese cake shop for my cake. There is no way i would bake my own!

Yeah!! It is now the school holidays over here in the west! I love having the kids home from school, i look forward to not having a mad rush in the mornings. It is a nice sunny day outside today possably 25.c, lovely spring day.

Doctors

well Yesterday i had to take my daughter to a ear specialist, & for the 3rd time in 3yrs she has to have grommets again! I dred the 12months, as we need to make sure no water get's in the ear!
But her right ear looks like will need an opuration when she is older.

Well it is hard to believe the holiday's are upon us again, the yrs just seem to fly!
We will be going over to melbourne to see family & friends. It would be nice to see more of our beautiful county, but there is only so much we can do.

Isn't it great both W.A teams (eagles & freo) are in the final's. I hope one of them win's this yr. Personaly i hope it is the Eagles. Freo has been alot better then in the past though.

Well it has been a long month, we have had my husbands mother over from victoria staying with us, it was good that she could stay, to see all of us in out new home. But we had out moments, where it got a little too much. Although we had fun showing her around. I think she has gone home to rest, we were that busy, i think we wore her out!!

Moving House

I am soooo..... sorry for my delay in adding a new post! We sold our home, and bought another one. We moved out of our's and could not get into our new home for at least a week, so some friend's put us up, what a blessing! When we finally did get into our house, we had some trouble with the phone line! These are all trial's that we go through and learn and grow from. We thank our lORD for our home.
